1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of FG-GPT, a product of Foresight Grid, Inc. By accessing or using our services, platform, or APIs, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Access & Subscriptions

FG-GPT requires user registration. Access may be gated via a subscription, enterprise agreement, or API key provisioning. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue service access at our discretion.

3. Data Handling & Forecast Inputs

You may upload historical power generation or irradiance data for forecast generation. This **forecast input data is not stored, retained, or used to train models**. However, we may log request metadata (e.g., IP address, timestamp, auth token) for security and operations.

4. Personal Data & Privacy

We collect personal data such as email, authentication credentials, and service interaction metadata. See our Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our platform complies with applicable data protection regulations.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use FG-GPT to violate any law or third-party rights
• Distribute or resell outputs without permission
• Scrape, bulk-query, or reverse-engineer the system
• Submit harmful, illegal, or unauthorized data
• Use outputs to train competing models

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to FG-GPT, including models, forecasts, and interfaces, is owned by Foresight Grid, Inc. You retain ownership of your input data. Output usage rights may be limited by your subscription or API terms.

7. Security

Your data is transmitted over encrypted channels and processed within secure, compliant cloud infrastructure. Forecast CSVs are not persisted, and user credentials are securely managed. We follow best practices for AWS-based model deployment.

8. Availability & Uptime

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Outages may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen issues.

9. Disclaimers

FG-GPT provides probabilistic forecasts which are **not guaranteed to be accurate or suitable for operational decisions**. All outputs are offered "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Foresight Grid, Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of FG-GPT.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or if continued access poses risk to the platform or others.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in U.S. federal or Delaware state courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of FG-GPT after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
